CARMEL IN ZEPHYR

After 14 years of strenuous efforts to enable our Markham house to accommodate to our growing community, finally the time came in 2006 when we had to move to our new permanent Carmel in Zephyr for our continuous expansion.

Having experienced the rapid urban development in our Markham neighborhood, which made it impossible to have a silent enclosure for our contemplative life, we decided to search for land in the countryside to build our new Carmel. After 2 years of search, we found a suitable farmland in Zephyr, Ontario, to build our new permanent Carmel.
