“For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both present life and for the life to come. And for this we labor and strive, for we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men”– 1 Timothy 4:8,10 – |
AspirancyAfter showing an interest in the Carmelite life, and having met with the community for some time, the aspirant may be given an opportunity to spend a short period of time with the community inside the cloister. This experience permits further discernment of the genuineness of the calling. |
PostulancyTo further discern her vocation, the aspirant may be accepted as a Postulant into Carmel for a minimum of 6 months. During this time, she participates in the daily activities of the community. |
