Prayer

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up,
left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”

– Mark 1:35 –

Mental prayer is nothing but a close sharing between friends;
it means taking time frequently to be alone with him who we know loves us.

– St. Teresa

Jesus taught us the "Our Father" and He taught us, in prayer, to ...

reach out to God, who is our Father in Heaven;
deepen our relationship with Him; to love and be loved by Him;
receive from Him the grace and strength for our earthly life and mission.
